Progress Update 8: After I got home, I again assessed the work I had just completed. I decided that it again gave me a good feeling and I considered doing things like this more often. They were again very thankful especially “since you worked so hard in the dark.” They offered me money and I turned it down. They also offered to get me a snack and a drink, but I wanted it to be truly free and again turned it down. Upon recalling this fact, it made me really happy that I did something good for somebody completely free and all by myself. It gave me a great feeling of accomplishment.
