Progress Update 4: We then started raking. The process seemed to take forever. I knew that we were doing a good thing and that we needed to keep going. I had raked before in my back yard with my family, but had never really done much because I figured it was easier to just let the rest of my family do it. Now that I was actually doing it, I realized how much it makes your arms hurt. My brother kept trying to leave but I told him that I needed his help in order to get done before dark. It was then, that Mrs. Moff pulled into her drive way. I was worried that she wouldn’t remember that I was going to do this for her because it was almost a week later. She got out and I walked over to her. She smiled and ever so gratefully said “Wow, thank you!” We talked for awhile longer and she just kept saying how thankful she was. It picked my spirits up and made me realize that I really am making a difference. Hence, we finished the job. It took an hour and 15 minutes to do it, but we got it done.
